In 2010 I joined German Jazz/Metal crossover band Panzerballett, with whom I have been playing around 200 gigs and recorded five albums since. I can't underestimate the impact that this band has had on me as every member is super serious about music and the music itself is extraordinarily demanding on different levels, be it reading music, improvising or learning difficult parts by heart and by that creating a deeper over all understanding of music.
